Visit MIT

posted in: Visit

We appreciate that students make the effort to visit MIT. While visiting campus, we want you to be able to experience as much of MIT as possible, after all, it is important for you to get a sense of whether MIT is a good fit for you.

MIT offers info sessions and tours most weekdays. You can view the schedule and sign up online.

To experience the academic side of MIT, you are welcome to attend an approved undergraduate class when in session (Academic Calendar). You can meet with an athletic coach, attend a campus event, have a meal on campus, or spend some time with a current student through our day visit programs.

During your visit, please feel free to stop by our Admissions Reception Center any time between 9AM - 5PM, Monday through Friday, to chat with our admissions staff and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. Our office is located in Building 10, Room 10-100. We look forward to welcoming you to campus!

We do not conduct any on-campus interviews and are not able to accommodate requests for appointments for one-on-one sessions with Admissions Counselors. Counselors present the info sessions and make themselves available to answer questions at that time. All Counselors are well versed on international admissions.

If you would like some tiips for other things to do while you're in Cambridge/Boston - please visit the MIT Institute Events site for suggestions for where to stay, eat, and other things to do in the area!
